hope harper monologue

Hope harper age 6 Yes daddy hit me he does it all the time but I can’t tell them that. They will take me away daddies friend jay told me so. Snitches always get put away. Yes he makes me cry but that’s okay because I have my unicorns and ponies to cuddle when he won’t give me cuddles. Yes he sometimes forgets to cook my dinner but that’s okay because sometimes the really nice lady Mrs Hopkins invites me over to bake cakes with her and her cats, i always bring them home and hide them under my bed. Yes daddy doesn’t know how to brush my hair but that’s okay because if wish hard enough mummy will come back and I’ll be her little princess again. It’s okay that daddy doesn’t love me or that my jumper is really itchy. Uncle Jay says he loves me and that when I’m older he’s going to take me some place quiet and were going to do something really special. Uncle Jay is my favourite I love him lots. He’s friends with all the policemen they always come round and give him rides in the...

evaluation of hope harper monolugue

My point of view What worked in your performance? . I used a good monologue that related well to my character and gave backstory and insight into my characters life. . I remembered my lines. . I spoke in a childlike tone (relevant to my character) What didn’t work? . My body language didn’t reflect the age of my character. My character is six years old I chose to stand and walk around I could have sat on the floor, fiddled and adjusted my posture to how a child of that age would stand. . I spoke in too soft of a tone. Due to stage nerves I tend to lower my tone on stage so need to work on projection. . I focused too hard on memorizing my lines instead of playing my character. In order to fix this I must Work harder in not showing the thought process on my face and selling my performance. Audience p.o.v     What worked? .the innocence of my character role. (The way I showed naivety when I thought the character of my father simply went for...
